Advocacy
At Kohler, we are helping to raise awareness of the intersection of climate change and the global water crisis through events and key partnerships.
Reducing Our Environmental Impact
Smaller Footprint, Lasting Change
Since 2008, we have reduced our carbon footprint across global operations by:
65% reduction in GHG (Scope 1 & 2) intensity
55% reduction in waste intensity
57% reduction in water withdrawal intensity
Cast Iron
Built to withstand the test of time, our cast iron products are made with a minimum of 80% recycled material and available in a diverse array of styles and colors.
Our portfolio of kitchen faucets in North America have a flow rate of 1.5 gpm, lower than the industry standard of 1.8 gpm to 2.2 gpm, helping our customers save water.
In 2024, we added 144 new WaterSense-labeled products, which use at least 20% less water than average, and were recognized with our ninth WaterSense Sustained Excellence Award.
We are making sustainability as inseparable from Kohler as design, innovation, quality, and artistry. Look for icons that highlight key product features to help people make the more sustainable choice, naturally.
With over 6,500 products that help earn points toward your LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, you will never have to choose between style and sustainability.
You can create an environmentally conscious, luxurious retreat without sacrificing performance or style. We design for durability, performance, and sustainability to help consumers use less water and reduce waste with products that last for generations.
